The CLASSES

Welcome to the wonderful body-changing world of the Tower. The Tower is an elevated mat attached to a series of springs, bars, and handles, which allow you to move the body in any number of directions, up and down, in and out, back to front, and side to side. As a client of HSF, you will work on your own Tower unit under the eye of our incredibly diligent instructors. Personal attention for the cost of a class.

Our instructors are classically trained, with at least 600 hours of education and 5 years of experience before they teach at Henry Street Fitness. In the case of Megan and Sasha, they teaching at HSF for over 10 years and they are senior level instructors.

Since many of our clients have been with us for years and are advanced, our classes are leveled so that everyone can get the best workout and consistently be pushed to the next level.

If you are new to Pilates, the Tower unit, or HSF, you must start with a beginner or open level class.

If you are previous experience elsewhere, you still must start with an open level class.

Please note: Intermediate level classes are for clients who have had at least 15 classes and know how to set up the Tower unit, use the leg and arm springs, attach the push through bar and work with the roll back bar. If you are not sure where you belong, sign up for an open level class and ask the teacher after class if you are ready for intermediate classes.
